yea I'm with socram on this one, good on him, but shows how much a mess the world is in. New Zealand will give 1 mill to help out in Kathmandu and these guys will get at least 100mill (give or take) each for 36mins fighting.

A guy like that needs to be seen to have an extravagant lifestyle for marketing and publicity purposes. Of course he might not really have 100 cars, did anyone actually count them? Also I remember the story of MC Hammer borrowing all his neighbors' cars for some photo shoot, so he could claim he owned a large number of vehicles.

So what is a brain surgeon worth? Sorry, I don't think he is worth that much at all. I hadn't even heard of him until last week! If Mark Knopfler sells millions of CDs or J K Rowling sells millions of books, no argument from me. There again, if people are daft enough to pay $100,000 or whatever for the cheap seats.

He is worth exactly what the free market tells us he is worth. Not some subjective amount from an individuals bias, but what the actual market tells us. That figure is $250,000,000 NZ for today's effort. That is what his Saturday's effort was worth and the proof is the fact he is being paid that amount. Again, the free market at work. Good for him. He earn't it and he deserve's it, no more and no less.

^ Exactly. The man is more capable of generating an income than all of us. Anyone that says he has "too much money" is a fool. and exactly how much is "too much"? It's a negative thing people who can't hope to compete write to make themselves feel better.
Should nurses, teachers, police and social workers earn more? Absolutely they should. But they don't, and won't until you pay more tax toward their income
