yeah different expensive cars, Bentleys, Ferraris, Lambos, Astons. Even the lower classes are filled with modified factory race specials. these are a rich mans plaything more than V8 super cars

Last years race was brilliant, great commentary and tons of action. Streamed the most of it and watched last few hours live on Sommet Sports. Never bother with the V8's anymore.

Some circuits the v8s are not watchable, same power and similar aero can turn things into a procession.
http://www.mowersport.org.nz/ (Is there anything cheaper with a motor to race in NZ?), blokarts would be the next step.
Radio Lemans' commentators are five star.

Live streaming on - bathurst12hour.com.au
Sunday 5.50am-5.50pm 'local' time.

Love the GT racing. Non of this 'identical under the skin' rubbish. Very brave to see three Bentleys in it as they are not really thinly disguised race cars like the McLarens, Ferraris etc.
Pity the date clashes with the V8 Super cars test weekend.
Live streaming on at the moment appears to be free, so won't bother coughing up for Leadfoot! Thanks for the link.
Some of these cars are lapping faster than the V8 Supercars too

was this called the Nations Cup years ago?I remember a 800hp viper leading the pack back then. I think the name was changed with a nice mosler, audi R8 etc racing!Awesome mix of cars.

50 exotic cars at Bathurst makes for fast-paced racing on a great track.
quickbuck,

Darn it. Has anybody else had the feed crash on them? It was just getting good!
quickbuck,
Feb 8, 5:19pm
OR, I guess it is actually all over now and I had quite a bit of buffering?
purple666,

Tis over now, lots of saftey cars, mad 2lap dash to finish, Bently got passed by Nissan, Audi and Aston.
tamarillo,
Feb 8, 6:01pm
That was bloody wonderfull racing! Nissan - thing I don't get is that all this effort to win on sunday - how does that translate to selling cars like Pulsar and those ghastly soft roaders? bentley should have won, followed by aston and Audi. no bias here.
tamarillo,
Feb 8, 6:02pm
yep lots of crashing, they mentioned a few outages at their end and I suspect some was our rubbish internet. At least THE LAST LAP WAS SHOWN!
quickbuck,

Yes, I got to see the finish after all. Was a great finish. Got to say well done to the Track Workers for getting the Race under way again after the late spin causing a safety car.
A huge Well Done to Chris Pither and his team from Icebreak Racing. .I think he was top Kiwi in 12th overall and only 2 laps down.
