92ish wots the story with these motors ,just had quick look dosnt seem many option for a second runner . friends run bearing supposedly havnt seen it . believe its a black top . wot the difference between them and are they interchangeable ? mr2 same motor ? or useable ?

I had a 4age Silver top. Ran big end bearing. Black top are factory only from 95 onward I think. Blacktop have lighter internals, and a MAF rather than AFM (a few other slight differences). Interchangeable if you swap engine loom across too. Not sure about the mr2.
