Hi I have a 2006 kdx is there any way I can get a electronic starter fitted? Also is this costly? Cheers

One of my favourite dirt bikes of all time (I've owned 4 of them from the air-cooled 80's to the early 2000's). Short answer is sorry, forget the idea of fitting an electric start. To the best of my knowledge there is no compatible crankcase from a similar model (with electric start) you could use, It would be an unbelievably expensive exercise.
KDX200's are one of the easiest enduro bikes out there to kick start. If stalling in challenging terrain is causing a problem maybe an auto clutch wold help? Check out
Thanks for the reply. Have recently broken my foot and still recovering from it. Will just have to wait for a proper ride without to much pain haha. Cheers

Harden up mate; stop sounding like a soft cock, grow a set of 'nads and start it with your left foot while standing on the right hand side. 25 years ago I broke 7 bones in my left foot and was back on my KX500 wearing a moon boot within 3 weeks - you young guys always want the world to be far too easy!
On second thoughts please ignore the above post, listen to you doctor, wait until you body's healed itself and don't end up back in hospital (in traction) like I did after being young and stupid.
(To be honest given the chance I'd do it all over again!).
