hey guys, is there a quick easy way of checking the expiry date of a vehicles warrant online? tried nzta site and could not find any help

No, its not available to the public via the web unless you buy a report. For what reason do you need to find that out?

Go to carjam, do the free lookup, scroll down to the odo history, look at the most recent WOF inspection date, add however many months is applicable for your car, and there you go.
Note that if the data is out of date, setup a reminder on the vehicle, if you (or anybody) does that then carjam will more frequently pull the updated data, usually that night.

If you just want the month / year when the current wof expires, just start listing it on trademe and when you enter the rego number it will auto supply the month / year !
Since the public registrations are closed, you must have an invite from a current member to be able to register and post in this thread.
