I did my sons engine bay a while ago. I got all my wiring from our local auto sparky. I suggest you try and take a sample of the wire with you as there may be different gauge wires used. Depending on where you go the auto sparky may show you how to remove the factory terminals from the plastic block so there will be no joins in any of your longer wires.
When I get to the wiring bit of my ute I'm gonna go the "painless" way. Google painless wiring.

There is A place in a aussie that makes looms for cars to original spec. I can't think of the name. Have used them a couple of times for the fabric coated type looms on old Austin

Ive got a couple of old looms left from a bulk lot I bought, mainly smaller pommy cars by the looks of it but they've gone into a few rods, rats & restos over the years. Welcome to come & have a look if you want

Last time I did a reloom I just bought a couple of correct (or similar) old looms from the wreckers, pulled it all to bits and reused the wires I needed. If its not long enough a bit of solder and heat shrink joins a bit on. Once it's all taped up the joins wont show. Don't forget its not just insulation tape but proper looming tape you need to make it look correct.

www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au Also a local auto electrician can copy the wiring and get the original woven covering on the result. Our local one can do that. You can get a couple of extras added if you want to then too. I got extra wiring for blinkers included.
