Im going to be pulling a windscreen out at a self serve wrecker and am just trying to figure out where i can get that special wire they use to saw through the rubbery gunk that holds the windscreen in,i had some a while ago that was a four sided wire(square like) and that was awesome,any ideas?.

Jeez - I made some handles similar to that years ago. But better. Guess it's not worth suing over. Like the idea of the prodder as it looks like it feeds the wire through. Might make one - and get revenge.
If you can get hold of some piano wire it will do the job. There's a serrated wire that does a better job than the square stuff. And it looks like that kit has it. A bit expensive when you only want the wire, but for anyone doing a lot that would be a good deal.
You will know that you'll be lucky to get a window out without breaking the wire. So you need twice as much - and a mate to work the other side.
We've had trouble getting the wire too, but our local glaziers have a good supplier, so we just get it off them in roles. I'm sure if you went into one and told them you want to get a screen out of an unmovable car, they would sell you a metre or two.
