Classic P.O.S , pommy crap more likely ! , Mostly I did decokes in the 70s , valve cutting angles on the machine ,seat cutting ,grinding and lappin in .Had no choice then. apprentice torture jobs! Each to their own for owning one, scrap the lot I say. lol

Yeah unfortunately know about crap apprentice jobs for months or years. Grandad was always doing a valve grind on his his. Recall tradesmen getting sick of British junk being off the road on a regular basis and helped to put jappa's on their map.
Old grandad went to trade the Marina in and asked the car salesmen "What he would give him for a trade in, car salesmen replied "We could find a hole and bury it" Grandad replied "If you are going to have an attitude like that I'll go and see brent and you know I'll will be so glad I did"
(Brents cars in CH-Ch run the "Come see me and you know you will be so glad you did" in their adverts)
