Golf 2000 cc FSI GT?

There are a few early 2004, 5 golf GT's on sale but with the 2000 non turbo FSI engine.
According to wiki etc the GT version of the mk 5 started with the 1400 twin turbo.
So, is this a jap market oddness? If so is it just a 2000 cc FSI or is it hotter?
Or is it Japanese sticking on GT badges to FSI cars? Current Audi A4 had s4 badges!
I'm confused. Help please.

Yep, just the 2000cc naturally aspirated directed injected 4. The GTX and GTi get turbos :)

Wikipedia is seldom accurate for Japanese market cars - they were badged GT there but just have the standard 110kw 2l

Twincharger is supercharged and turbocharged, not twin turbo.

Yep, though technically what I should have said was twin super!
