Sorry, hate to be the spoiler--i'll delete if you want? did a few k's , sorry miles chasing one of those in my vanguard, both with bikes on trailers heading to mx [scrambles], no power with brakes to match lol but never got into trouble. Was it morris oxfords the indians were making then put discs on the front & [think] a toyota motor--stopped so quick then that all the older ones kept running into the back of them. I'm sure i read that somewhere.

1954-1956 Series 2 Morris Oxford, definitely snoops.
My folks had one back in 1956 to 1963.
I had one of the later 1958 series 3 Oxfords in 1966-69 and the clock was moved from the speedo to being central mounted spot between the 2 big instruments.
Series 2 Oxford.
