Tune up

Hey guys.
Now, I'm getting old and old school.
A tune up used to be points, plugs, timing, carburettor adjustments, etc.
So with todays more modern fuel injection, computers etc, what should I do for a tune up on my '99 Oddy?
Done plugs.

fuelfilter air cleaner injector cleaner bottle of würth in fuel tank Good oil and a good oil filter wix is a good brand . and check battery is in good condition clean and no corosion on therminals . and fuelcap is tight and no oil leakes , thats about all for todays cars you can do Rest is done my the ecu and the wires sending and reciving power inputs and outputs.

Thanks.
Did think there was much.
I did a google and it talked about expensive things like cambelts, water pumps, etc.
Said you should change cambelts on the Oddy at a 100k miles, not Km's.
Not sure what a 100k Miles is in Km's. Just did a conversion and it sayd 160K, don't think that would be a good idea?

that is car specific thats not a tune up
some cars had as little as 40,000km the need of timing belt changes most are 100,000km and some are a bit more then 100,000km for thet depending on what the manufacturer tells. but 90% of all are 100,000km
also quite some engine have chains chains dont need to be changed normally but quite often they give trouble and cost loads more when this happens then a timing belt on other engines who are part of routine milage or age maintainace parts.

Also, check ignition timing and thermostat operation. You can clean the EGR valve and throttle body if you want to. As for the cambelt, it's due every 100 000kms (but, I'll double check that when I get to work).

RE 6 you are somwhat misreading the question the question is what they can do they dont have a oem scanner to see if ignition timing is comanded at the correct time by the ecu with that or a 3500$ pioco automotive scope. its about tune up what you can do on new cars verses old .
95 is old and a 90s volvo you can turn the distributor the timing will change and then the ecu just corrects it again to what it wants it to be.

You need to post your exact engine and gearbox if you want to know all service items apply to your vehicle. Honda have special automatic oil also
i just seen a women who put manual transmission oil in to her oddyse or how ever you spell that. I said that is not transmission oil for a honda.
some indian from a petrol station sold her that oil she said.
told her to save for a new car now . or get it flushed and serviced soonest and professional advice from advanced automatic whangarei as to what damage that wrong oil will do.
