I think the problem with the lines is simply with the hood, it's a shocker!
Take it off and you's end up with just a run of the mill plastic T running full fenders.

I don't mind it too much, I think the top of the motor also looks a bit odd with just a single carb sticking up there. Same way that 'proper' tunnel rams look odd with a single carb IMO.
