its going to work its to stop the huge doors bend in the middle and come out of the rails from possible gusts.
the place has trees all round apart from north east and that is not directly on to the doors.
Building wont move its fully concrete block reinforced steel.

So what have you done?
i also got 60 liter fresh diesel for my 40kva generator should we have power cuts.

fordcrzy, Mar 15, 5:16pm
i charged up my spare car batteries for our 12v lighting and laptop power supplies. if we loose power w'ell still be entertained and lit up

I've checked the guttering above the man cave but most importantly I've checked the wetsuit (still fits-just), life jacket and fins.
I haven't jumped off Murrays Bay Wharf (on an in coming tide) after a good cyclone since Bola!

Meh i've just planned my root for a 340 km/h tail wind.
lol
opinions are still open on how good a blowie pam is gunna be-some cyclones lean toward land masses-and her path includes a depression that will pick her up.
However we are colder than tropics so she will chill a tad.

cool site relative here.

And I nearly bought a tanker of water last week, shouldn't be short now, after Pam drops by for a visit.

I'll park the Kuga a meter deeper into the carport as a precaution.

"how good a blowie pam is gunna be"

Not to mention the Blowie Pams going to do.

I'm gonna experience it the best way- on board a 777-300ER at 9.00am Monday morning out of Auckland!

NZTools, Mar 15, 8:29pm
Cyclone Marcia went right over the top of us a few weeks ago. It had reduced to a tropical depression by then, but we still got 430mm of rain in 36 hours

kazbanz, Mar 15, 8:56pm
hey guys--I just got news from my friends in Vanuatu.
several confirmed dead over there.
Mele village got pounded but no reported fatalities.
My friends are all alive but not too well.
Likely in the next few days I'll have a container out back of the yard. Hopeing to bludge as much building material as I can including tarps to get up to VA.
Sorry if this seems like self promotion but my friends have been kicked pretty damb hard. They don't have much so pams taken that away from them
