Aye? Once you turn off the kaimais, it's sh28 all the way until you get to sh1. It's also well signposted all the way.
Nothing wrong with the direct road now it's all sealed, apart from the abundance of ice in winter.

OP had already looked on Google, but wanted to know the quickest way.
I'd say both discussed routes would be about even. Kiamia's would be the cruisiest drive
