Thanks gun'.
I moved away from using Autothane Rapid clear and started using Nason (DuPont) and holy cow what a difference.

I take it it has been cut & polished? Yes, it surprising what trying a few different brands can achieve, as you know all paints, clears are not created equal. even changing hardeners can have a huge effect.

Gorgeous colour on that car, and such a clean reflection. I'm impressed and a little bit envious.

Yeah mate, cut back and buffed.
I use the Evercoat triple cut system and i love, and it makes 1200 scratches go away lol.

Thanks. Colour is what Audi put on their R8s and 'exclusive' line cars.
Off the gun. As long as we are showing off lol. Evercoat triple cut? As good as Meguires? Who is that sold through?

Got it through Autolink. It's all in a box that contains,
Cutting compound (Triple cut) Swirl remover (Triple gloss) Buffing glaze (Triple glaze) Finishing spray mist (Triple mist) Orange waffle pad Blue waffle pad Black waffle pad 3 high quality micro-fibre towels and an apron.
Have never used meguiar's, too expensive for me lol.

Did whole bonnet black, masked out stripes painted the gold, ran one coat of clear round the edges of stripes then 3 full coats of clear. Never heard of autolink.

I use Evercoat, liked it over everything else. It was my neighbour a painter of 40 years that got me into it. He was rather insistent I use it
