That does not answer the question. I'll assume the real answer is "no".

This is what you wrote in OP -
I am trying to identify a driver (and license plate) who hit me.
How are we to know your name wasn't that Gross person?

We don't know that OP is the cyclist. But the odds are against it.
Just as we don't know that you are the driver of the ute. But the odds are against it.

The odds are against it? So if I said, I ate an apple today, the odds are against that too?

The odds are very much for me being a cyclist - member of VORB, opening thread about cycling. and if you asked a regular here they'd say Troggy is a cyclist (or something similar).

Would you mind if I post this on Vorb then? I am on there semi regularly, and I really really want this bastard off the road and in prison where he belongs

By your logic perhaps. But not by mine.

Given that many people will post a response to the original post without reading the rest of the thread, I think it's a very reasonable conclusion to jump to.

If you havent found the driver yet. you arent trying very hard. google shows a company that matches that company name description based in kumeu and the type of work they do matches the type of vehicle described. not very hard to work out. a little bit of surveilance will turn up the driver.

The driver obviously isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer to do this for a start AND to do it in a company sign written vehicle. Sounds like he's a waste of oxygen.

Any progress on this? Would love to hear he has lost his job/ licence

Call into the office and talk to the manager about a ginger bearded tosser. Most managers take bad driving by their staff pretty seriously. Unless the manager has a ginger beard I would say he/she would help you out.
