i just hear the air aisia airbus has dropped out of the sky due to it climing till it stalled on its own then drop out of the sky like a rock with stall warning and all lights in cocpit flashing and beeping.
Now just think of the fun you can have with self driving cars.
I already have some experience with a brand new citroen c4 it has had 800km on it and it has reved its guts out as soon as you started it.
I have the freezframe data unknowen code bsi module from citroens garage scanner printout ,as yes it is under factory warranty.
They did claim they found no problem and reset it to factory settings.
Now here is a clue as to what they probably did do
They flash upgraded the module , and that seems to have fixed it . well did it fix it or will it do it again smashing in to anything at full throttle one day , as yes its a automatic.

Loads of fun , not so much fun if your dead after.

Personally I try to never fly on an Airbus aircraft as they are too computerised and favor the computer over the pilot. If it ain't Boeing, I'm not going!

That very steep climbing is indicitave of a super updraft in a storm.
Beware of drawing conclusions from incomplete evidence!

& to think Auckland airports new 'smart approach' is now taking off & landing entirely computer controlled, thats why theres so much more noise, to save money the aircraft coming in is turning earlier, theyre going slower to the point of drop & the motors surging on & off to JUST keep them up.
Thanks a lot Auckland Airport & council

The pilot was trying to climb above the bad weather.

He may well have been, but he had been refused permission to do so because other aircraft were operating at the heights he wanted.

The Indonesians are doing the flight data recorder analysis.

For the C4 - a race/ rally car - master electrical switch in the centre console might be an idea.
