Any "boy racer" car in completely unmodified/butchered condition. Especially factory manual transmission/turbo examples.

I reckon the First of the A4 Audi Quattros fit that description, particularly the 1.8T version. By the time the A4 came out, the AWD system was well sorted.
The AWD system and the eminently tunable 1.8T motor marked them as separate from the crowd of lookalike 1990's cars.

Nissan s cargo and Avalon? Hope you guys are teasing.

Last of the SS Commodores if you keep it long enough and don't use it much, which kinda ruins point of having it!

Parking up a car to keep the miles down and protect the value is like not having 'relations' with ya mrs so the next guy gets a better go.

Cars are meant to be driven!

Probably most 90's thru current Falcadores, particularly certain performance models will be seen as classics one day, though I can't imagine why.

In fact, some owners seem to reckon they already are given some of the often laughable prices you see being asked!

Unsurprisingly, I pick the Challenger, Camaro and Viper.

lookoutas, Jul 27, 4:36pm
You left one out

lookoutas, Jul 27, 4:39pm
But in all seriousness - what tg mentioned (and failed to mention) are the cars that Insurance Co's such as Classic Ins, Swann etc, list as a Modern Classic.

morrisman1, Jul 27, 4:48pm
Pulsar GTIR, especially red ones. I might be a bit bias there.

tgray, Jul 27, 6:39pm
Yeah I know.

Stuff that has a racing/hero history and some limited supply. R32 GTR are a "Yes" and an XJ8 Jag is a "No"

Can pretty much rule out anything that has its own MSNZ "race class" tho like the SanYong utes, and Suzuki Swifts.

quickbuck, Jul 27, 6:55pm
Even the AE86? I would actually put them on the list.

stevo2, Jul 27, 7:01pm
MX5, Toyota 86, Subaru BRZ - WRX STi
