Whenever I've sprayed any insect spray in behind the wing mirrors the resident spider comes running out in a big hurry.

My car lives outside. Every 2 or 3 days I clear off the spider webs that are attached to my wing mirrors, the wipers and the door handles, also around the headlights. The next morning they are back. Fly spray does not work. My car looks terrible with all the leaves and twigs that get caught in the webs. Is there any kind of spray to prevent these pesky web makers to pack up and leave. Thanks in advance.

There is an anti spider spray for putting on houses, I have been thinking about using it on my vehicles.

Try Ripcord.

You'd have to apply Ripcord in a very fine mist and not let it run or it will leave obvious runs. But I agree, it will keep spiders away till next time it rains.

This topic has come up before ,try using the search feature, from memory there were some very clever posts last time, (tho not all of them that helpful). I find the generic sprays from Mortein etc for crawling insects work for a reasonably long time ie 1 - 2 months

No More Ants. Spay it on the web, and walk away.
It's the only thing I've tried, that works. If the spiders don't leave, they will be tits-up on the ground.

Throw a bug in the web and then blast the spider with fly spray as he ventures out to collect his prey.
