one shows loads of stuff . i talk about how you diagnose things like fueltrims also shows values i told you guys over and over one needs to learn how the ecu thinks in order to find faults and mesured values this chart shows the threshold values of where it operates and if its outside it sets a dtc. this does not mean when there is no code all is well . its rather good for a flow chart it dont gives the scenarios of corroded signal wires as for that no flow chart exists you learn how it works and mesure if all is well till you found whats not well full system design knowhow is a must on todays cars. 256 pages for you to read thru over easter mrfixit seemd to be one who i could see interested in reading this. You should know what i am on about with fueltrim you diagnose from the values of fueltrims what could be wrong , this is how every professional has done it here the uk germany the usa all do exactly this looking and knowing what the longtherm and short therm fueltrims mean as first call on obd2 drivability problems. page 55 you can download this also as i have. most car use similar ways as its global mandetory obd2 emission codes all in this document its world wide not just california. this is the global obd room not the oem vehicle codes http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdirs/diagnostics/pdf/OBDSM1404.pdf

That looks like one of those technical training manuals I was telling you about Intrade. Good for you.
http://www.slideshare.net/rahul/problem-solving-flowchart This one I use regulary. ;-) & still make a healthy living lol Time finding the fault v fixing the actual problem ! Flow charts are really for time wasters,I was trained to use intelligent deductions successfully gained from my training earlier on.

No wonder there are so many stuff-ups made by untrained mechanics. Increasingly often now the franchise with trained technicians will be the cheapest solution to a problem with a modern car, And guess what, they will use electronic diagnostic tools and factory flow-charts.
