That is REALLY cheap for one of those units. Mrs kaz what looks to be exactly that unit in her car and is happy. Her only negative is the GPS sometimes screws up suburbs when searching. For example it thinks a location is Henderson when its in Swanson -one suburb over.

if your not worried about the GPS then Super cheap has a promotion at the mo for a Sony 2din head unit for the same price, has touch screen, rear camera input, DVD etc to. Ends the 29th

I think you will find that the Supercheap one doesn't have BT ,yep one essential to have , and it hasn't got it .
I tried a cheapie, needed steering controls for it to work properly,so sent it back. My priorities were.AM/FM, BT 6.2 Screen ,and reversing camera. There aren't many that fit that range for under $500 , so finally ot one from Amazon, be careful though, the US stations tune in .2 as opposed to NZ which is in .1 aggregates.I learnt, an FM band expander fixed it but , another $80 to sort .Was it worth buying from Amazon, not sure.Got a Kenwood good unit , but all up about $500.The Kenwood wasn't available here so worth, still only a maybe.

Yeap. Done the American one for cheap. I had to piss around a lot with a separate expander to get fm working. Kaz when you Bluetooth music streaming is going does it come up with the song name etc ?
