We have a disable parking ticket which we have not had long. I still put money in the meter when we park my husband tells me I don't need to pay. I don't want to get a fine

Check with your local council.Ive always understood it,s a permit to park in a designated area, not a free parking area

Usually you still need to pay, but there is more grace given if your time has expired.

yes u still need to pay ! but if because of ur medical condition u fail to make back to ur car before the time run out u should NOT have a ticket . if u do just write explantion to said people on rear of ticket and.fine should be waved
edited ; when u received should of had an information pack with it outlining this ? mine did!
