Hi, today I went to fill up my window washer water, but poured water into the coolant reservoir instead, will this do any harm? Car is 2011 Hyundai I.30

Probably not but if you filled the coolant bottle right up to the top you should remove some liquid . back down to the full mark (you will see this on the plastic bottle . top most line). best do this when the car is cold. use a syringe or plonk a cut off short (30cm) piece of garden hose in and plug the end with your thumb (this will trap the liquid) and remove. keep going until the level goes down to full. if it is full to the top there is a chance it will flood over. dont worry about a small bit of water mixing with the coolant . it can handle a tiny amount.

Will do no harm at all and will over flow any excess through it overflow port by its self so just leave it all good

Shouldn't do any harm but I would just siphon out the coolant reservoir and refill with coolant of the correct concentration. I did this with a diesel Mazda I had years ago and there were no problems,

The problem is if it does flood over it may stuff your alternator (if you are driving). use a rag or towel to make sure you dont get the electrics wet when you remove the excess. note some systems are pressurized . if its too full it could burst the bottle in this case. let the car cool down as near too cold as possible and remove the excess down to the full line. and you will be fine. #Last thought if it has a little hose running off the side of the bottle dont worry it will probably just leak out the excess safely. ideally though it should never be overfilled.

It will just overflow when necessary so no harm done (as long as you didnt put screen cleaner in there)

Don't siphon it off and put in the washer bottle but.
