I saw a Kombi single cab in the supermarket carpark a couple of weeks ago. Owner thought there were only 4 in NZ? I'm guessing they don't come up for sale often.

I'm thinking drop the commer body on the middle of an HQ ute chassis, do the customary chop and channel, then get those big truck wheels mounted up, then get the chassis down real low. Maybe a wee deck out the back. Awesome.

Ooppps, when I was young I bought one and saw a pic of one with about a metre cut out of the middle, it looked great. "I can do that" so cut it into three, went away from home for awhile, came back to find Mum had it taken to the dump. My sad story )o:
