I would like to wish my new friends buttercup , 2forgetfull1, mad goat and everybody else all the best for next year.

Clatty has the right idea. If everyone diddled at 90ks, if everyone held everyone else up, this stupid tolerance thing would be gone in months. Pursuing logic is a waste of time, lets just bog up the roads over these holidays , kilometer long traffic pileups, no ticketing revenue, that will cause a change real quick i reckon. Maybe do 85 ks, just to be sure.

It would work , I know the most useless of guys who go off like a bomb when I have suggested 140 overtakes not a good idea. One got a stinker of a ticket and when his wife told us this I felt like ringing up and say to him. Serve you right you bastard.

One thing I do do when I see somebody driving a sign written vehicle and driving badly I ring the firm, blow my stack and tell them they just lost their biggest customer.

fungles, Dec 5, 3:01pm
When i had my jag, everyone wanted to pass me nomatter what speed i went. its a childish my car can beat your car thing i reckon. One way to reduce tickets is to have a orange light on the roof, a dummy is fine, this will only work on a non descript vehicle of the council type. . a red ute is perfect, but a normal white car will do.

We were doing some pre Targa testing early Oct at Hamptons.
One of the utes was out testing as well, have to say it looked a little quicker that I thought it would be!

looks are deceiving

LOL; after 20 years of building & racing cars i've got a lot of faith in my "looks", no pun intended!
We were sharing the same practice session and although it was anything but a fire breathing monster in a straight line it was surprisingly well behaved under brakes and in the corners.
