Does a 2003 Daihatsu Sirion 1000cc have a cambelt or cam chain?

If it is the 3 cylinder EJ-VE then it uses a belt.

And the 1300cc 4 cylinder ones are chain driven. Storia/Duet/Sirion are all the same car.

toyota no longer supply parts for dahatsu . so if you dont own one dont buy one. toyota own dahatsu a bit like dick-smiss that one.

That's absolute bull! They no longer sell new Daihatsu's, but they still supply all parts.

yea like the transmission silanoid for a rugger whom they cant supply. he got a letter from toyota telling we try our best to supply parts but you should buy a toyota because parts supply is faced out , thats sortof what the letter did read . that you better buy a toyota soonest also dahatsu mira left lower balljoint. 0 supply in nz or japan factory or aftermarket. i ordered a aftermarket part from germany for the guy here in nz.
