A little marine diesel twin sold recently on TM. Advertised at 25hp, but I would put good money on it being 16hp only. (dont know of any twins putting out any thing over 20hp.) Do you send a question asking are you sure? Or do nothing. I did nothing. So somebody is sizing a prop for 25hp.
What would the panel do?

Google the make and model of the engines.

Basically the holistic view is there are a lot of wrong/illegal/misleading sales on here that trademe don't care about. Take all the illegal HID bulb upgrade kits that sell in 1000's but are illegal to use. But if you think that the seller has made a genuine mistake then tell them.

Too late, move on.

Best to ignore and not ask questions unless you are seriously considering purchase.

there has been a few times that I have seen something listed as something it isnt. last time it was a motorcycle listed as a 2002 model, when it was actually a 2001 model - (one is carbed, the other injected, different frames, brakes, fairings, COMPLETELY different bike) so I sent an email to them, friendly as, to say hi, saw this listed, but here's some info of the models, as it might help you get the right buyer. I attached a couple links related to the models in question.
the reply was "Fk off."

been a few times ive seen something that appears to be listed wrongly, as a genuine accident, but EVERY time ive made a friendly, helpful comment, I have had abuse in return.

I dont bother anymore.

oh, the motocycle remained listed for about 18 months and never sold
