I am looking at getting a swift. I have just been browsing trade me. If I got say a 2006 car, apart from the price what would the difference be, between the 2014/15, apart from the year. Like would the performance of the car be any less for the earlier model?

Have a search through old threads here as there has also been advice given about which models to get. Seems jap imports used different autos from nz ones at some stage, and differing sizes. I do know that the current car is a new model despite looking very much the same, and reported as being overall improvement worth having. But that's if you have the money of course. That said the new ones are dated now and the new fiesta, Mazda 2, and vw polo are all newer designs with substantial improvements. So if you are looking new or near new do try others, they're more advanced running gear alone is worth it in savings at feul pump.

That first listing surely must be a typo? $6,995 would be more reasonable for that car.
