The funny thing is

with most speedos reading anywere from 6-10ks out most people are actually travelling at around 92-98kph and are brown stuff scared to go faster in case the needle hits a 105ks and automatically a copper springs up and busts them. but if they had a gps in their car they would see they are not actually even near 104kph

I don't mind. My car uses 1L/100km less when I am sitting at 90

90kph on your speedo = about 84kph in real terms.
You would travel at 84kph for 100km while an impatient queue builds up behind you to save $1.75 for your trip?
You related to Clatty?

Here we go again.

On my GPS

I don't get why some people get so upset to find someone doing 90k. I guess as pedestrians they tailgate oldies on walking frames.

Cause some people have busy lifestyles, they have things to do, places to go, people to see, and they get annoyed by dawdling old pensioners that have allowed all day just to go down to the shop for a bottle of milk.
The sort that rarely indicate, take ages to move off when the lights go green and dont even notice the growing line of traffic behind them.
They are generally selfish and have the attitude that "I pay my registration and I'll drive at any damn speed I like and hold up as much traffic as I like, and to hell with anybody else" and yes they may have saved a dollar in gas for their days outing but havent understood why everyone around them seems to be driving like a maniac by "unnecessary" overtaking

its actually got nothing to do with speed.

i've got it on video somewhere of people that are rushing, tailgating, passing everyone and then go down to a crawl and hold everyone up. its not about getting somewhere quickly, its all about doing what they want, when they want and **** everyone else.
they do not know how to play nicely with people.

hahaha well there you go

rpvr, May 4, 12:31pm
That's exactly it. Tailgating is the dangerous issue, not the speed. For example, if we follow the two second rule no following driver should be closer than 55 metres to the driver in front if that driver is doing 100k. In today's wet conditions, that should be doubled. That's the length of a rugby field. Go figure. I'm picking there will be a few nose to tails on the news tonight.
