Jmma Thanks for the warehouse link they have the cheapest 5w30 i have seen and i know mitre 10 dont stock that.
Both cars need an oil change and the subaru runs 5e30 and the holden runs 10w40. So im going to need to get 2 containers of each. But i usually buy extras when its at a good price.

Yes in this instance they may make nothing on the deal (may have even lost money), but what they have made is a satisfied customer who may shop their again and spend lots more money over their lifetime,

not from what I saw, but that was a smaller company with less bulk buying, edit: similar buy prices to mitre 10, if not the same.

To answer the original question,mitre 10 are going out of Castrol in favour of Mobil & Valvoline
