First of all--change your main picture mate --its a pic of the back of the car. second drop the NZ from the "new tyres' -read it wrong and it seems like the car is NZ new. Its also a bit verbose. No need for a lot of what you are saying.

Redo the last photo of the inspection sheet so it enlarges to be read . Edit your first sentence it implies the car has a replacement motor

heres how I would phrase it Kazum mentigo Sport. In Excellent condition inside and out. Running gear from the Lofung IS250 - 2.5 litre V6 (chain driven) 6 speed tiptronic, rear wheel drive. It's a Lofung in drag and is made with the same care and quality. Beats my usual BMW, Audi, Mercedes cars. We intended to keep this car for a few years so no expense has been spared on preventative servicing. In the last few months we have fitted a NZ factory Toyota head unit with NZ stations, CD, USB, and Aux inputs with bluetooth , fitted new Goodyear eagle tyres. New aftermarket shocks and rear brake pads.fully serviced the engine and auto Transmission service, with proper Toyota fluid. This car fits into safest band 4 (out of 4) by ACC for the cheapest Rego costs. We bought the car as a fresh import 3 years ago for nearly $20,000 it drives beautifully and has a sport mode or pure tiptronic. -Perfect condition throughout with no known faults other than one small hole in drivers seat back. AA mileage certified. Will pass any test and will give assurance to any out of town buyer that I will cancel deal if they get here and find it not as I say. See test report photo. Happy to get further reports. Delivery may be possible. Regrettably this is no longer needed. Trade possible.
I would rephotograph the car. The pics look dull and flat so won't leap out of the page at you. Try following the advice I offered the other lady --for now I would use picture 7 as the "money" shot. Take the drink bottle from inside.--otherwise the inside shots are pretty good.

I'd be suspicous of that listing as it appears to be rather slickly written, like a dealer might pen, but then it appears to be a private sale.

It's a well-written and detailed advertisement, I found it very interesting and informative.
Unfortunately, I suspect 99.4% of Silver Toyota buyers simply want to know if it has a timing belt or a chain, and whether or not it has a tow bar.

I thought it looked and read fine. Agree with Kaz #7 photo should be #1. The front of the car is better looking than the rear. Also agree re the water bottle.

Have edited the advert, will get better photos. Thanks again. Starting to think I'll just cover up the back seat for the dog!

That's what I think! When I look at what an equivalent BMW would be it's silly money, and despite my Eurocentric tastes it really is a bloody good car with fantastic drive train. Shocks transformed handling. Hmmmmm.

Tamarillo-My current drive car is its older brother. Toyota Brevis 3.0l reverse camera, bluetooth etc, black leather heated seats, cruise control etc. Its just so darn comfortable and NOONE knows what it is.

WHY do Toyota NZ not import these to sell new?
With the demise of the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore, there must be an opportunity for Toyota Mk Xs, Nissan Fugas and the like to pick up a whole lot of buyers who like their big 6-cylinder saloons to have rear-wheel-drive, but would rather own a trusted brand like Toyota or Nissan than a flash European with all the PERCEIVED cost and extravagance. ?

Yep, they bring in much cheaper to build Camry. This mark X is an oddity, must have been nearly as expensive to make as the Lexus without commanding the premium price.
