good stuff rossi

kazbanz, Jun 29, 9:22pm
I suspect VR was "soposed" to back off and MM would then run it wide. with enough momentum and VR enough lost momentum so VR couldn't go under him on the right corner.

Marquez on pole, Pedrosa 2nd, Lorenzo 3rd. Rossi in sixth though has good race pace.

budgel, Jul 13, 11:51am
About to start soon.

Another great result for No.46, shame about his perfect run of podiums but some good points on the board that really matter. Season still looks like it's going down to the wire.

one of the most entertaining races I have seen

countrypete, Sep 29, 12:54am
Damn. I had had a couple of late nights and only watched the Moto3. After Aegeter's crash in Moto2 and the delayed Restart, I went to bed. Marquez crashed again I see.

noodleman4, Sep 29, 6:37am
Moto3 was its usual helter skelter stuff :)
Pedro and Vale had a great scrap for 2nd - best race in ages for Dani

Just bumping this up.
I am hoping to be able to watch V8 Gold Coast 600 motor racing this weekend.

Moto gp about to start soon.

Rossi, you naughty boy! That may well put paid to his points lead. It was a marvelous dice between Rossi and Marquez until then.

unknowndisorder, Oct 26, 7:39am
Mild. I hope he gets DQ over that - and I was a fan of his for years before this bull. (Not a racing incident, deliberate bull).

Oh, almost turned off the tv, but made to watch the end. Bit curious as to his reception from his team at the end. Still don't want Jorge to win the championship, just not happy as it has ruined the race and the championship.

richynuts, Oct 26, 7:59am
Marquez qualified 2nd he had the pace to be running with Pedrosa, he had no reason to be there other than to hold up Rossi just like he did at Phillip island, Marquez is a dirty rider and deserved to be pushed. IMO

Your nutsrichy - Rossi was a clear richard head no one deserves to be taken out like that.

unknowndisorder, Oct 26, 9:57am
Decision made. they were nicer than he deserved.

tats63, Oct 26, 8:29pm
Interesting though that there was no penalty handed to Marquez for running Rossi off the track at Assen - ok Rossi won that race but was clearly dangerous riding from Marquez. I don't defend what Rossi did, he clearly had a rush of sh#* to the brain however there is also no doubt that Marquez is riding with mischief in mind now the championship race is over for him. This has left an unfortunate stain on what has been one of the best seasons for many years.

Seems like a lot of niggling since the 'comments on Thursday ', if in fact VR wanted to make a cushion and some breathing space with a wide turn I don't think he deserved the punishment of losing 3 vital points and possibly the title by starting at the back of the grid for the final showdown in Valencia.

With only a narrow 7 point advantage over Jorge going into the championship final and we all know how instantly fast both Honda's can become, Pedrosa has been insanely quick over the last two events so Valentino will need the luck of the gods to pull this championship title off.
Valencia is also one of Jorge's favourite tracks so expect fireworks for the final showdown.
If you read the last 3 sentences of this article things are getting quite tense all round.

It was a strange thing when Rossi talked about MM blocking him last week, and Iannone back him up. and now this happens. You don't turn in on another rider and expect it to turn out well. but MM does.

As soon as the MotoGP riders get rid of that tosser Marquez, the better racing will be.

noodleman4, Dec 28, 10:27am
That's similar to what people said about Rossi when he was up and coming.
