Bloody hand strapped up for a week & hope the tendon heals ok
It's either that or 3 weeks in plaster.

Just as well I can do most things left handed as well.
Won't have to bother the wife to do ,,,,,,,>>>>

Crook tendon? Takes ages to heal properly. Listen to your doc, let it do what it needs too! Been there. too often, done that. don't wanna do it again.

Yep strapped & bandaged so far.
Avoiding that hand but it's not easy>
Physio correction, she said upwards of 3 months plaster.
That blimin tape sure likes to stick to skin, gonna be a buggy to get off without that 'wax affect'

Not to mention the hair growing though it! Dad had busted ribs once, tape etc was on long enough to be extra painfull ripping it all off!

Been transferred to a hand specialist & had a molded brace made up.
That flippin tape bracing system has probably taught me a lot more about "hair waxing" then I really wanted to know about ;-(

2 weeks in the custom hand brace now & wait & see what happens.
Scary how such a tiny tendon can upset things.

Tiny, but very important. Do as you're told, it's easier. I learned the hard way. then the best way. Good luck dude!

Good luck! Had just got my shoulder tendons back OK, when I damaged my spine and killed the nerves that operate 3rd, 4th and 5th fingers on my left hand. That was January 2013 and the nerves still haven't grown back, despite (another) spinal fusion op.

Be patient and be a good patient.

Another fusion? I had L1-3 fused 2006. Doc wanted L4-5 fused in 2011. I said no, replace it instead. I didn't like the thought of a 'welded chain' putting all the stress on the good disc in the middle. Still have too much grief now, but watchagunnado!

Bugger that.
Tho half expecting that in later years after what I did about 4 years ago.
Popped a lower back disk out & back in about 30 seconds later.
Hurt like buggery but healed well.

Bloody hard to 'moderate' when I do everything myself. Whether it's cars, fences, houses etc etc etc! Unfortunately everything takes 3-4 times longer than its sposed too! Missus keeps whining but watchagunnado?

C6 & C7 17 years ago, now C7 toT1, so at least I have a good excuse for a crap golf swing! At least this second time, (same surgeon) I didn't have to wear a neck brace and they used bone from a bone bank instead of chipping a chunk from my hip and the vertebrae were strapped together. Advances in surgery. Brilliant.
