My Hough loader with its international engine needs a new tappet cover gasket.Anyone know where I might get one, or will I need to make one? Thanks.

Try an international tractor dealer. the motor will probably fit some other things as well.

The ford dealers used to sell parts for Hough too. through their car dealership which also used to do tractor spares. Hough might have used ford parts because I've got transmission parts(clutch and brake bands etc) through them, and brake parts. Just in case it's any use to you in the future. They had the parts manuals even.

Thanks.Very interesting. There is so much information in the heads of people like you - that google will never know. The chap I spoke to at Hamilton Tractor spares was an authority on my Kimco. He knew the type of injector pump and even a three digit number stamped on the engine block. Had to break a gasket set open to get me the tappet cover gasket! (just when I thought I would soon be tracing one out on gasket paper. ). Thanks again Brett.You have helped me before.

Why do people come on here asking for parts without stating model or engine type or size. I served my time on international gear including all model kimcos. they we only inters built by the japs when inter and komatsu amalgamated. Engines didn't change and we still built in the states
