I think you'll be able to advise me on this, buy anyone else welcome to comment also. got an old Series 8/02 ironhorse and so many years since I last used one I can't remember the mix ratio. Will it go alright on 25:1? Cheers!

Will go forever, My boy has plenty of parts for those if you need any.
About the only thing that gives up is the starter.
Used to be a poster on here that made up old mowers just like new, has a biz in Auckland , will think of his name soon, some sort of latte it was.

ETA flat_white_ltd was him

I'll definitely keep that in mind mate. much appreciated! I know parts are a little more thin on the ground these days. Bit of a Kiwi classic these beasts. always loved em! Got good strong compression and she's in good nick. don't think it's had too hard a life.

I seem to remember that guy too. always had listings on here, mostly older quality machines. can't think of his name either. Hard to go past the build quality and reliability of the old timers. Appreciate your help. Knew you'd be the man to ask.

Hi mate! happy New year to you and all of Yours, hope you had a great festive period. Seeing as you're the Mustard on grass cutters. I've got an old Scythe I bought off the Grim Reaper, same model as Old Father Time has got, anyway what are the chances of turning into a zero turn Ride on mower with a 1360cc Citroen AX GT engine ( for reliability). I'm not sure whether some hose clips will hold the seat to the handle, Cheers mate.

Right back at you, best wishes to you and yours as well (o:
Now this grass cutter, you want reliability aye, lets talk Corolla 1600cc for a start, chuck in some Holden parts and it will go forever Lol
Hope your better half is OK now. Keep smiling (o:
