Shock headline isn't it. Slightly over the top tho as it includes minor dings as well ie there not all dramatic death and injury which it would seem their trying to imply. Must be the speedings to blame replacement.

If we keep going at this rate none of us will be allowed on the roads

I'd say at least 10 dead over the holiday period.Seen some nutters today already overtaking in stupid places, one idiot motorcyclist having to take evasive action to avoid being a new hood ornament for a Ford Territory.

It might be the usual number to expect. Who knows?

Other than improving the NZ roading system, the next best thing to do in the interim is to reduce the maximum 100kph to 80kph. Cheaper than widening of roads.

I and many others will not agree with you.

maybe people could learn how to drive, yesterday drove from matamata to wellington set cruise control to 104kph off the gps so its accurate apart from the bottom of lake taupo and were the 3 sisters were on the desert rd was actually quite comfortable and didn't have to worry about the cops. oh and just for nightsky 1 or what ever you call yrself (an avid follower of mine LOL) yes I did have my radar detector going and at 104ks on the gps they weren't even worried about me but at least I knew were they were and who they were

Hopefully all 50 of them will involve right hand lane hogs
