Mark X drivin.

Well I got to go for a drive in one of these machines at the weekend.
Nice enough car to look at in the flesh.
Nice roomy interior.
The drive was pretty good, quite enough as well. Hopped along quite nicely as well.
Things I didn't like were the bloody touch screen all in Japanese and several other push buttons and other dodads that one may never know what they did. or do as ya to scared to push or turn them lol. That touch screen would be very distracting if you were the soul occupant and wanted to adjust the air con etc.
Also, the passenger has access via there own personal controls to radio etc etc. really? See that causing a problem, like me loosing.
Well appointed car though, passenger seat all electric same as drivers.
silly bloody center console lid would also be a pain in the arse the way it works.
Good size boot.
And the thing that really put me off was adjustable suspension, wasn't in the description of the one I looked at (on TM) so may not even have bothered looking in first place if I knew this. And they had already replaced some of it so it worked, good sign that. not.
Kids didn't find the rear seating as good as the 06 Accord I also drove.
Soooo, good cars no doubt but not for me, still like the look though.
Then drove a mates sportivo which was couple years newer than the Mark X. Had everything I would want, and cruise control, comfy, quite, enough power, simple but effective controls one can read and understand. Better sounding stereo to boot. Didn't wallow around or anything at all like many say they do, but I have experienced this on some models, bout 99 2000 ones.
Now, where does one buy off white pants, top and sunhat? Oh, and how do you get ya pants up round ya nipples?

I'm taking you drove the mark x 300g? I brought the 250g which doesn't have all the air con stuff build into the touch screen, its all just below the stereo, reason is so I can replace the factory touchscreen with a nz aftermarket one. Also 250g doesn't have passenger controls for stereo on the door, I can't understand having them there in the first place, it is just as far to reach as the stereo, must be a jap thing.

Na, 250GS it was. There was a bunch of buttons below the touch screen, God knows what they did? possibly option 2 for using air con then?
