Rules regarding front forward faceing spotlights

am thinking of getting 2 LED spotlights to fit on my utes nudge bar but cannot find anything regarding the rules of this.

I am assuming that they can only run with the high beams?

I had 2 LED flood lights on a wagon and got declined for WOF (only worked on high beam) as was told they weren't up to standard so took off and got WOF

far as I knew so long as they operated on high beam only and had a separate switch it should be fine

Read the link above for a bit more info about fitting LED lights.

Just search for ECE LED driving lamps, and find some that comply

I had BMW 635 twin headlights , fitted aux driving lights on hi beam only& VTNZ wouldnt give me WOf saying wernt allowed more than 4 lights forward . i went elsewhere & passed

If you had more than four main beam lights including the spots it shouldn't have passed. You are not allowed six.

I have a nudge bar on my van and have a pair of Hella driving lights mounted. They have no seperate switch and must be wired to run only on high beam.
I also have a pair of Daytime running Lights that will only run with no other lights operating.

That was my argument factory fit inner 2 were low beam only & outer 2 hi beams only , so max of 4 on at hi beam but he wouldnt wear it , the other tester intrpreted it same as me
