believe your gut not your brain. after all your gut feeds your brain. do not over fill either with junk, it is not healthy

It was proven in WWII wasn't it, as it enabled Spitfires to run on lower grade Russian fuel.

Additives for fuel and oil are a waste of money. The Spitfires started using 100 octane from 1940 instead of the earlier 87octane, not some additive.

robotnik, Jan 20, 8:40am
I was meaning Lend-Lease Spitfires flown by the Russians on the Eastern front, where the gas was 70 octane.

twincam1, Jan 20, 9:05am
In the 1960s I used to run my Jags on 105 octane, available most gas stations. Only fuel equivalent today with 105 octane is LPG.

Correction, BP now sell 102 octane in the UK, maybe we might get here.

I guess that depends on why you use additives. I use an additive to prevent detonation, which in turn allows me to run more timing. And it works.

BS for sure.

Ask yourself:

IF

it was possible to build a small, inexpensive, in-line catalyst device,
one that never depletes,
and never needs replacing,
and can significantly increase the horsepower-generating potential of the VAST quantity of fuel consumed over the working life of ANY ENGINE it is plumbed into,
and/ or
can significantly improve the efficiency of ANY ENGINE it is plumbed into;

WHY -

WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOUR CAR NOT ALREADY HAVE ONE IN IT, FROM THE FACTORY?

I used" 104 octane booster "in my worked charger it ran 10 5 :1 Cr after they did away with TEL in petrol ,& the the " fuelstar " proved to be 100% useless , just filled up with 91 & put the additive in . went well
