Hidden in plain sight on the ACC site. Their "Light Pasenger Vehicles: Levy Bands for 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016" document shows what we'll pay for Rego Post-July. There's the usual strange anomalies and unfairnesses. For example the old and mostly-non airbagged Volvo 700 series is in the safe band (L3, $103) while the newer and well-airbagged 900s series is in the widow-maker L1 ($158) band. So are the new Chery SUVs and other assorted dreck so it's hot stuff.

Discussed already in the other thread, I hope all you future financial victims of this departmental incompetence are working on your submissions/formal complaints to ACC, some of you ARE going to be ripped off compared to other motorists with similar vehicles even if its only $40-70 p/a because of an unfair or unjustified band placement. Its the principal of the matter. We expect more accuracy and not blanket generalisations/cobbled together figures from our highly paid employees who are supposed to be safety experts don't we?
