licence period next month. Is that the new price?

jmma, Jun 25, 8:14pm
Depends on the car, different prices for different cars.

Put rego in this

No, mine is $138.04 for 22/07/15 to 22/07/16.

EDIT: After reading jimma, for 2011 FJ Cruiser.

nzmax, Jun 25, 8:24pm
My amount for 20/07/15 to 20/07/16 is $201.29 (on posted renewal notice) or $198.10 on the website above for a 1999 Maxima.

budgel, Jun 25, 8:36pm
$175.20 for my 1999 BMW 740i. Cheaper than I expected!

kiwikid2005, Jun 25, 8:47pm
Our 20 year old '1 star' safety rated run about. Rightcar reckons $198.20c for the year.

Yet our household's "best" 5 star ANCAP safety rated car. the website says $134.95c for the year!

Cheers for the link Jmma.

twink19, Jun 26, 5:30am
my ute is $270 and wifes car $230. both diesels about half what they were

Thanks for the link, jmma. It's a 1990 Hiace 8 seater petrol. Has an ACC Levy band of 1. The safer the vehicle, the lower the ACC Levy, it seems. Thanks all.

edangus, Jun 26, 11:59am
This bit on there is a bit odd though. We can't show a reliable safety rating for this vehicle

Only vehicles sold in New Zealand since 2005 have been tested using accurate up-to-date methods.

2 Vehicles I have are NZ new 2010 and they don't have the data up.

$134.95 for the RX-8.

$238.45 for the Corolla.

gammelvind, Jun 26, 4:18pm
$134.95 for my 1998 Toyota Nadia. Pretty good value there.

lookoutas, Jun 26, 4:27pm
$134.95 for my 02 Legacy & 06 Stang.
$71.65 for the Mach1.

rustihammer, Jun 26, 5:03pm
$71.65 for me

marmar1, Jun 26, 5:05pm
99 subaru 134.95.

wardz4, Jun 26, 6:35pm
Gee - my Commodore SV6 only 134.95

joanie04, Jun 26, 7:32pm
My Nissan Avenir is $134.95 and the mere male's Holden Commodore is $198.20.

johotech, Jun 28, 8:43am
Check your ACC costs. They have stuffed up on the classifications!

I got $198.20 too (from online) as I'd posted earlier on in the thread. the actual figure for me is also the same as yours from our renewal notice. $3.09 extra from somewhere. but oh well, close enough.

fast4motion, Jun 29, 12:54pm
Looking at the small print on my renewal notice, it costs an extra $2.69 ($3.09 incl GST) for the "admin/label" fee if you go to an agent rather than renew online.

kiwikid2005, Jun 29, 1:05pm
Cool, thanks for the heads up :-)

tigger8, Jun 29, 1:58pm
you can't trust that as I put a Mitzy doublecab in and came up with $175.92 and on nzta site came up with $293.91. so go figure (mind you "rightcar" stated it was a 2 seater)

fast4motion, Jun 29, 2:27pm
My Datsun station wagon should be $238 according to its model and year. But because it's registered as a 2-seater goods vehicle, rightcar says it's only $175. Should get the renewal notice in the post next month, so will be interesting to see what it will actually cost.

brummoi, Jun 29, 2:29pm
$134 for the 2003 2.0 Primera, $238 for the 1992 Bluebird and $411 for my 250cc bike which makes me a bit sad - the Bluebird may have to go

joanie32, Apr 14, 12:35pm
My daughters car has two air bags, abs and everything else you'd expect on a 9 year old jappa. It has 1 star safety rating and says it has no air bags etc?
