Went to the Art Deco weekend in Napier. If you love old cars it's a must! Auburn, Cord, Packard, Hispano Suiza, Rolls Royce, Bentley - absolutely awesome cars. And all the people dressed up in period clothing driving around Hawkes Bay all weekend in their fabulous cars. Great experience - thanks Napier.

We were there as well. It was brilliant. I got quite a few photos of the old cars in the parade and parked up as well. I liked the Bugatti and the Cords. The Auburns rate highly as well. We had to stay in Hastings but have already booked for Napier next year. Mrs Stevo dressed up in 1930's costumes and made me do the same.

Do it. Even if its not your thing, its still worth a look. A few old clothes from the OP Shop and your'e in business. This year we took the MX5 down, next year we are taking the van so we can throw our cycles in the back.
