NZ is too small for an outfit like Aldi who clearly rely on very high volume and low margins, and Foodgetstuffed and Aggressive enterprises know it. The second outfit who is competing with Aldi in ever increasing regions in Australia is no doubt going to make the locals here pay for this competitiveness, in the same way the four petrol co's make those who dont have Gull in their town pay for their forced lower prices elsewhere.

Intrade mate, it's very obvious you're not a Kiwi. Why with the way you complain about the place do you still live here? Don't get me wrong; I have good friends from a multitude of different cultures and consider myself to be anything but xenophobic, but I just can't get my head around the fact that despite you incessant complaining you still choose to live in Godzown?

dont get me wrong i see nztools has already moved to australia . to name 1 example . i am for making things better and the less people the overpriced stuff buy the more they would have to actuarly make prices more real . like why can chicken meet be 24$ a kg and then out of the blue its 5.50$ a kg. supermarkets make 1000% proffit on basic essential items in this country milkprices have plumeted now , before this we where having to pay so much because the export gets so much money from milk and now i suppose we have to pay even more for it to make up for the losses the export now has also.? instead of milk coming down to 80 cent a liter of what it should cost.

here is a classic undisputable example not that we even are allowed to have a beer now in this country and sit in the car after!. but 6 pack krombacher beer made in germany is 9.99$ if you buy a local made 6 pack you pay more and all the other beers are also made in auckland like Becks look at packets brewd under license by lions brewery. So a beer shipped half way round the world is still cheaper then what is brewed here, either they all earn 100$ per h in these aukland brewery or somone is getting seriously rich from milking us dry. Also water is more expensive the coca-cola ! comon man that stinks to high heaven . hellen clark said on national tv when she was prime minister it dont matters if milk prices rise as she only needs a tini bit of milk for her cearial in the morning. i seen some demonstrators where out on the anouncment of the budget well the problem is a few demonstrators wont change there minds when they do what ever they like like like some facist rulers .

and yet the Aussie maintain that they are the most expensive place in the world. the van driver who picked us up from the airport said his swings are 21 days on and 7 days off for $18 an hour. he's leaving in July and going back to the UK because he hasn't made any money in Oz, he's an engineer but over 50. told him not to come to nz then because he would be destitute.
that is one aspect and my mate said aldi inquired to purchase sites in nz and was boycoted as they want to keep the margins high , and if aldi would come here they would have to lower there prices to realistic levels or i am sure everyone would only buy at aldi sites in nz even the ones who cant calculate how much stuff costs . I know that concreet imports where boycoted by powerfull gungsters at the border 15 years ago this information is from somone quite high up in the concreet industry and i dont know if the person is still working there now , its why i post the insider information now ,i also dont know if this case is today still valid or not but was what went on back then. Same was put to aldi that they will be screwd with every level possible if they dear to come here. plus the problematic the nz herald article mention on top.
