Yes they are pretty good. I have been down loading and listening to the podcasts for years, but as with everything you probably need to listen to a couple to get the hang of their style. Richard Porter works in some capacity for Top Gear.
Yes he's script editor and co writer of some kind. Nice guy, amazing car geek.
