I suspect the cutoff solenoid since there is a click from the engine bay when it happens. It is totally intermittent and will happen several times in quick succession and then run fine for half an hour or so. The filter is new, the pump is mechanical. Any takers?

Either the cut off solenoid or faulty/defective wiring from key switch to solenoid? Auto sparky would be way to go?

Narrowed it down to either the solenoid or the relay at this point, I'll have more time over the weekend.
