You can still buy some approved Heritage bodyshells such as MGB and Mini direct from the original manufacturers. I wasn't aware that Ford were doing them, so are they just making up shells from spare part panels and passing them off as new shells?

^^ often the dies are sold rather than scrapped & aftermarket reproduces them . But tolerences could be problem after having stamped out a million origonaly
Jeez mate, I couldn't agree more . I've already, (in my head ) had Mrs sr2 booked in for the "brand new escort body" conversion.
