Stone me for not knowing how to tell but I think it's carburated. So maybe no point in using injector cleaner? I'll look for some kind of cleaning fuel additive and change the plugs just for now. Until I get it serviced. Its booked.

Stone me
drugs are BAD. mmkay-LOL
Round or square air cleaner?(Black thingy ma bob)

'Properly tuned' for 96 but run on 91 it will ping.

But if you don't mash the gas pedal it is possible to run it with that state of tune.
And if you can you will get more MPG. (If you care about that)

LMFAO - so Youngie is a moron. Must tell the drunkin prick that, next time I'm unlucky enough to see him.

Doh! 2 beers and definatly off song.

Fill it with 96,then take it for a good thrashing up a long hill where you can hold your foot on the floor for as long as possible.
A 20 year old Mitsa with 200thou on the clock is really not worth chucking a lot of money.

Injector cleaner is still good for cleaning the rest of the fuel system & cylinders

Not sure what the fuss is all about, pull a little spark out of it and fire your mechanic.
(Anything that "pings a little" is risking detonation damage).

Doesn't the timing have to be set with a plug earthen out that sits in the loom along the firewall. Set timing to spec written under bonnet and disconnect jump wire otherwise it will be to far advanced

snoopy221, Dec 12, 8:27pm
Depends. moit be carbon tootered maty.
That note1 lill surge might be standard issue carbied.

Round, Snoopy. I changed the oil and plugs and have injector/carb cleaner to use at next fill.

m16d, Dec 13, 5:35pm
If your sticking that useless injector cleaner in, it should be done when the tank is empty, not full.

I think you mean empty and keep it empty so it's more concentrated.
