I can't seem to find any info on nzta. Any idea about the 4 digit serial number on these labels. Most of our labels have a serial number which is the same as the fleet number of the vehicle. But, it doesn't really matter does it? We have spare labels from old vehicles, we could use those to replace missing labels in other vehicles right? Or are TSL labels actually registered to specific vehicles.

Your TSL number is the same for your entire fleet. but must be displayed on each vehicle.

Yep, that's right. But each label also has a unique serial number. I'm just wondering if those serial numbers are registered to a certain vehicle

We have a draw full of them and carry spares in our logbooks, as we need them if we change to a rental on linehaul Haven't got a spare second one at home to see if theres a difference in the serial number at the moment. Ring 0800 822 422 monday,,they can help

go on any vehicle, that was one of the reasons they brought them in, i hire one of my trucks to a guy that does licences, he just takes my tsl out of window puts his in and now running under his tsl
