No doubt most won't recognise the name, but the MAR in Marcos passed away March 2nd.

Jem raced the ex Jackie Stewart Marcos in historic events for several years which was sold at auction recently for GBP41,000.

Good job you're not into Hot rods then, as you would have to go out in a Bucket after having kicked it first.

LOL! Who said there was no humour in death?

I certainly hope that when I do pass on, there will be lots of laughs.

Marcos decorated wooden coffin with a Union Jack (start) and checkered flag (finish) and some wag will no doubt add a white flag for 'slow car ahead'. maybe a red/yellow flag (British cars leak oil) and so on? If I'm dressed in my (old) overalls, will it slow down the cremation by 30 seconds?

Hey Soc, don't forget the Unions "Red flag" gotta keep it flying. They'll take one look at yer coffin and call a Strike for 6 weeks 'cos the flags don't have double stitching or something equally important.
