Galv trailer has rusty patches where motorbikes have dropped petrol, (weird) is it ok to use the acidic rustkiller on it? Have used it on non-galv with good results. Cheers.

The rust is there because the zinc galvanising has been scraped off.
If you use a rust killer, then paint it with a zinc paint ASAP to stop it rusting again (as fast)
